Nestled in the Green Mountains in Central Vermont, this traditional Vermont white farmhouse on a hill was built in the 1840's. The house has been in the same family for the last 100 years and has been lovingly maintained and features many original details. The house sits on a bluff of a hill with mountain views and is surrounded by meadows with meandering stone walls and apple orchards. Inside you will find full wide board pine floors and traditional woodwork. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one with a screened-in second floor porch. Downstairs you will find another bedroom, a full period bathroom, a living room with a sleeper sofa, a dining room, a kitchen and a large family room with a full dining table framed by large picture windows with mountain views.
For the skier, the surrounding area is home to Okemo Mountain and Killington Mountain while Magic Mountain, Bromley Mountain and Stratton Mountain are all nearby. An abundance of lakes offer hours of summer recreation. Lake Ninevah, Star Lake and Echo Lake are all a short drive away.
The house is available for short term and long term rentals year round.
